European Bifurcation Club Update and Provisional Stenting-Introduction to the Series

Hello everyone, this is Tanvir Raab, on behalf of SC&I and the SC&I Bifurcation Club. Thank you for joining us.  I'm pretty thankful to George Angus for inviting me to the SC&I Bifurcation Club and supporting  my efforts in starting these monthly bifurcation webinars under the auspices of the SC&I Bifurcation Club.  A special thanks to Medtronics and also to Rebecca Burwell and Eric Grammer from SC&I making this possible.  Our esteemed guests today are Israel LeVoir from the European Bifurcation Club, really the founder of that club, and Francisco Berzota, also from the European Bifurcation Club.  Our own Azim Lateef, both doctors from Montefiore in New York, and our chat monitor is one of our senior fellows from Emory, John Lisko.  The focus of the webinars will be case presentations and discussion of different treatment strategies, including imaging and physiologic evaluation.  Didactics will be at a minimum, but we will periodically have presentations on important topics. So, without much ado, I'm going to invite Azim Lateef to start his presentation and  update for the European Bifurcation Club.
