Description

Interventional cardiology is the only subspecialty in all of medicine, surgery or radiology with minimum procedural volume requirements for MOC. Analyses of registry data suggest no clinically meaningful minimum procedural threshold for patient outcomes, prompting SCAI to call for the abolition of volume reporting requirements in IC MOC.

Watch the recording of this town hall to learn about the data, why SCAI is advocating for change, and be prepared to respond to the ABIM's survey on this issue. Prepare to shape the future of MOC in the specialty.
