Join guidelines authors from SCAI and the Heart Rhythm Society (HRS) to discuss the 2025 SCAI/HRS Clinical Practice Guidelines for Transcatheter Left Atrial Appendage Occlusion. This is a unique opportunity to hear directly from the experts behind these recommendations. Faculty will utilize real-world case examples to demonstrate how to apply the guidelines in your own practice, including considerations for pre-, intra-, and post-procedural care.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this initiative participants will be able to demonstrate the ability to: 
  1. Recommend pre-, intra-, and post-LAAO care, as outlined in the new guidelines.
  2. Differentiate between treatment and imaging modalities and clinical scenarios in which each modality is best suited.
  3. Recognize knowledge gaps uncovered throughout the guideline process and the most impactful trail designs needed to clarify these gaps.
