Overview

Representatives from SCAI, the Society of Interventional Radiology (SIR), the Society of Vascular and Interventional Neurology (SVIN), and the Society for Vascular Surgery (SVS) discuss the CREST-2 Study, which compares three different stroke prevention methods for patients with asymptomatic carotid stenosis: medical management alone, medical management plus carotid stenting, and medical management plus carotid endarterectomy. This multidisciplinary panel of experts discuss how the results of this study will impact clinical practice.
