Learning Objectives

At the conclusion of this initiative participants will be able to demonstrate the ability to: 

Review the impact of optimized care pathways and the cusp overlap technique (COT) on reducing complications such as permanent pacemaker implantation and aortic regurgitation.
Analyze the importance of implantation depth, guidewire selection, and adherence to the 4-step COT in achieving consistent and reproducible results.
Use strategies for conduction disturbance management, including the use of post-procedure ECG algorithms and Holter monitoring to minimize sudden cardiac death and unnecessary PPI.
Explore the impact of TAVR on patient-reported outcomes, including Kansas City Cardiomyopathy Questionnaire (KCCQ) scores and New York Heart Association (NYHA) classification.
Identify factors contributing to variability in outcomes across centers and strategies to overcome challenges in protocol adherence and training.
