Learning Objectives

  1. Examine the pharmacodynamic profile of parenteral antiplatelet agents. 

  1. Review current data on antiplatelet considerations in acute coronary syndrome and cardiogenic shock. 

  1. Describe contemporary antiplatelet treatment protocols in STEMI and cardiogenic shock. 

  1. Discuss future antiplatelet and antithrombotic therapeutic targets.
