SCAI PCI Readmission Toolkit aims to provide physicians and other members of the cath lab team with information and tactics to reduce readmission following percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). The goal of this activity is to enable facilities to reduce their readmission rate from baseline, with discussion of the following topics:

Public health impact of readmissions after PCI
Predictors and causes of readmissions after routine PCIs and after STEMI
Cardiologist-led measures to reduce readmissions after PCI
Medication management in the peri-procedural period
Reducing PCI complications
Same-Day Discharge
