Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

• Analyze the occupational health risks encountered in the cardiac catheterization laboratory, including radiation exposure, orthopedic injury, and other environmental hazards affecting interventional cardiovascular team members.
• Evaluate evidence-based strategies for mitigating radiation exposure and musculoskeletal injury, and determine their application to diverse clinical practice settings and patient care environments.
• Integrate current recommendations regarding pregnancy-related occupational safety, fetal risk mitigation, and procedural management into clinical decision-making for both healthcare professionals and pregnant patients undergoing catheterization procedures.
