Overview
Aortic stenosis may not be the whole story. Join experts for an in-depth examination of the important clinical intersection between aortic stenosis (AS) and transthyretin amyloid cardiomyopathy (ATTR-CM).
Explore the clinical overlap of AS and ATTR-CM, approaches to identifying cardiac amyloidosis in patients undergoing TAVR evaluation, opportunities for multidisciplinary workflow integration, and the evolving therapeutic landscape—including tafamidis, acoramidis, vutrisiran, and what may be ahead.

Learning Objectives
At the conclusion of this initiative participants will be able to demonstrate the ability to:
- Recognize the prevalence and red flag indicators of ATTR-CM in patients with aortic stenosis.
- Implement a systematic diagnostic approach for suspected cardiac amyloidosis in AS patients, including appropriate use of imaging and laboratory tests, to accurately diagnose ATTR-CM before or shortly after TAVR.
- Incorporate ATTR-CM disease-modifying therapy into the care plan for TAVR patients with confirmed amyloidosis.
- Develop a multidisciplinary management plan for AS patients with ATTR-CM.
